All 98 tools — click a category to expand it. Nothing is pre-selected; you choose everything in the interactive GUI before the install begins.
WSB installs Chocolatey and winget automatically. Scoop is opt-in — select it from the tool menu and WSB will bootstrap it along with git. Each package is routed to the right manager automatically.
Microsoft's official package manager. Used for most GUI apps and the Microsoft ecosystem — Office, Azure tools, browsers, VS Code.
The original Windows package manager. Used when a package isn't on winget or is more up-to-date here — IIS Crypto, FileZilla.
Opt-in from the tool menu. Installs CLI tools into your user profile — no admin required, no registry pollution. Used for jq, yq, and other portable utilities.
Microsoft's official PS module repository. Used for Az, Microsoft.Graph, PSWindowsUpdate, and other PowerShell modules.
WSB is open source. Fork it, adapt the tool catalog to your needs, and run your own version.
The catalog lives in config/tools.ps1 — adding or removing a tool is one line.
